What: Freshly captured asanas set against rad city & seascapes...all flecked with thought-provoking quotes and uplifting anecdotes.
Where: Los Angeles, CA, USA (but, she travels a bunch--so expect a collection of backdrops, sunsets and skylines, from all over)
Why: Be warned--once you go check out @sugarbell, you will definitely be coming back for more. Her images are unpretentious and powerful and wholeheartedly stunning. But more than that is her dynamic energy. Her verve for her practice and for inspiring others is contagious--just by looking at her pictures, you'll be invigorated by her fearless attitude--f'real. I was lucky enough to get to chat a bit with her in preparation for this post and she offered up why she practices and teaches yoga:
"...Once I stopped being afraid is when my life really started to transform. Stepping right up my fears, looking them in the face, and for the first time jumping off the edge of that cliff, having not a clue whether I'll and softly, or land at all. And I'm okay with that. Because I believe that everyone deserves to be happy and I want to help them get there."
And, yes, she absolutely does this with her images and words. Visit her Facebook page to check out classes in the L.A. area (link in her bio) or follow her on Twitter @arestivo16! I love this quote from R.W.E. and it fits so well with this lady's energy. "He who is not everyday conquering some fear has not learned the secret of life."
