What: A meditative painting workshop inspired by the 7 chakras
Where: At CTG Yoga's outdoor meditation space (1315 Englewood Avenue, Saint Paul, MN 55104)

CTG Yoga and Paint Your Story have joined forces - combining yoga, meditation, and your own unique creative energy! It's time to learn more about your own chakras as you are guided through a yoga practice with each chakra in mind, allowing you to feel them in your body.
H O W I T W I L L W O R K//
Part 1: This workshop will begin with a brief introduction to the 7 chakras and where we locate them in our physical body. We will use basic yoga postures, color, and sound (by the use of crystal singing bowls) to familiarize each student with their chakras.
Part 2: We will move in to a 7 part meditation that will go through each chakra (from root to crown). After each meditation, we will spend 15 minutes painting and reflecting on what came up for you around that chakra.
Part 3: We will close with a grounding savasana meditation and have time to share and journal any additional thoughts.
This event is welcome to all ages 8+. No experience with meditation, painting or chakras is necessary. This is a perfect place to connect with your chakras for the first time, or deepen your relationship to them through meditation and creative expression.
Please bring comfy clothes, water, sunblock + bugspray (we will be outside)!
