CTG Festival Hood - DHENU

CTG Festival Hood - DHENU

This batch of Security Blankets is inspired by yogic mudras.

Dhenu Mudra, the mudra of stress + depression

MUDRA 101 (brought to you by @ctgyogalife):

So I chose Dhenu Mudra intentionally as my second mudra because it is linked to Tarkshya. Tarkshya is representative of detoxification and purification, but after we detox, we must take effort to maintain that purity. Dhenu is representative of the enrichment and nourishment necessary to sustain a clear mind and body. Lots of texts that I read said it is supposed to imitate the udder of a cow…which makes sense now doesn’t it…

Made from vintage, one-of-a-kind Afghans, sourced sustainably and made by hand, one stitch at a time. Each one is entirely unique so if you see one that speaks to you--scoop it up before it's gone! Every Festival Hoods is designed based on the original shape and structure of the Afghan so individual styles may vary.
