December's New Moon is under the influence of Sagittarius. Sagittarius is the most independent signs of the zodiac. Free-spirited and wise, Sagittarius energies are provocative and fiery. Sagittarius can ruffle feathers through blunt or tactless comments.
A bit more on what it means when the New Moon is in Sagittarius:
The New Moon in Sagittarius presents an opportune time to commit to personal goals that express the positive energies of the sign of the Archer:
- increase understanding and awareness;
- muster up the courage to expand your horizons and branch out into new ways of thinking;
- gain more confidence and optimism by focusing on the "big picture";
- transcend the details of mundane existence;
- work on positive thinking as a way of life;
- take an exam, apply for or begin a new higher learning course, travel;
- nurture faith, hope, and vision without overdoing one's expectations.
We can too easily get lost in the details of mundane existence. With this potent Sagittarius energy, we can find ways to transcend these details of day-to-day life and nurture our faith, hope, and vision. Because Sagittarius thinks in big terms, we may have a tendency to overdo our expectations. It's time to be a little more adventurous, and to set the stage for reaping the rewards from our braveries, as little or big as they may be, in approximately two weeks' time after the Full Moon occurs.
Rishi started in a windowless 400sf space in Milwaukee’s Third Ward, where loose leaf teas were formulated and hand blended in micro-batches for sale to cafés throughout the Midwest. "Rishi" means “one who is a seer, sage, or seeker of truth” in Sanskrit. For us it means constantly striving to learn more about tea and strengthening our connection to tea and botanicals and the people who grow them. We strive to reveal the natural truth to our modern society, which has become so far removed from gardens and kitchens, and overly dependent on labs for synthetic and processed beverages. As Rishis, we want to share some natural and simple alternatives for people to live healthy and delicious lives. Discover new teas and join us on a wondrous botanical journey to leave No Leaf Unturned.
